FACE OF THE DAY #6

I am back with a FACE OF THE DAY post! I know it has been a while, but the past month was full of outfit posts and no time or even place for any beauty related items.

So, here we are again talking about my favorite everyday makeup routine. The look that I chose to show is the same from my latest outfit of the day look (if you haven’t seen it yet, you can check it here.)

My makeup mostly rotates around the winged liner and a bold lip, so if you are interested in how I achieved the look above in the picture continue reading.

Eyes: after moisturizing my skin, I tend to start working on my eyes. I apply a concealer to erase the heavy under-eye circles, this time I am using the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer in the shade 51 (although I have found a product that works for me much better, but let’s talk about it next time). Then using a blending brush I apply a light nude shade all over the lid to make the winged liner that I am about to draw, pop more. Using the same blending brush, I add a taupe color straight into the crease for more definition. For the winged eyeliner, I prefer using a gel type (the one I am loving right now is the ESSENCE one in the shade LONDON BABY, since you can be more accurate and have a perfect,slightly thickened liner. ( for how I draw my winged liner, I am preparing a full post, coming up in 2 weeks). No eye-makeup is complete without the mascara, and the one I am using now is the L’oreal Telescopic (which started to dry-up lately, and you can’t get hold on it in Lebanon. Such a shame, since it is one of my favorites).

Face: I don’t wear foundation or any powder, so my face routine consists of applying a blush to my cheeks to add some color to my pale complexion, and the one I have been enjoying lately is the DALI blush powder in num.6. This powder is very pigmented, so you need to have a very light hand when applying it. Then I comb with the LUMENE’s EYEBROW GEL in SOFT BROWN through my eyebrows, to add a little color and put them in place, since they have been acting really weird lately and I am trying to grow them out and properly reshape them next month.
Lips: the final touch and my favorite part of the whole process, choosing the lip color. Since I am a lip junkie and a bold-lip fanatic, I love adding a pop of color to my looks and this time I chose the KATE MOSS BY RIMMEL LIPSTICK in #6, which is a gorgeous bright pink color.
