Topshop Makeup Haul

Hello there Lovelies!

As you all by now figured out that Topshop makeup is available in the Lebanese market, and I couldn’t be any happier, as you could have guessed my excitement throughout the previous topshop post (link here).

I have been passing their store in Beirut City Center for many times, until I finally chose the products I liked. I only hesitated because the lipstick I wanted the most, “Infrared”, wasn’t available in Lebanon, so I wasn’t sure of the lipstick color to go for instead.

So, keep on reading if you want to find out what I got and what I are my thoughts on them.

One of the main things I wanted to try from Topshop is their Highlighters, and I did. I chose SUNBEAM highlighter and it was love from the first application. I don’t know what’s so special about this product, but it does miracles to mu complexion and makes me look healthier and glowy. Already two of my friends made the purchase after seeing me wear it on the top of my cheekbones. It is actually my favorite from the 3 products I chose, and I can even dare say it is my MUST-HAVE product in my collection.

I was looking for some affordable Cream blushes in the drugstores but couldn’t find anything for my liking, until I laid my eyes on this beauty, blush in HEAD OVER HEELS. It the most gorgeous Peachy-Pink color (the photo doesn’t do it any justice) that could be worn all year long. Although I am wearing it almost every other day since I bought it, I wish it was more pigmented.

For my last purchase, I was hesitant. Since they were having a promotion in the store, buy 2 get 1 free, I decided I wanted to get a lipstick and fell in love with this really bright pink color “TEASE”. It is a matt finish, but feels very light on the lips, the only problem being that it doesn’t really suit my complexion.

Overall it was a nice experience, and I totally recommend you check their Makeup Range, since you may be quit surprised with how good their products are.

I have had this top and these pants for over a year now, but never thought of combining them together, then one morning I just put them together and Voila I fell in love.

The Shades of Spring

Hello there Lovelies!

And Happy Easter to everyone! I hope you had an amazing holiday away from work and near everything yummy!

You know I love my makeup. And the most important and exciting part for me is the Lipsticks. Boy, I get excited much! I am not going to tell you how many lipsticks I own (shhhhh, it’s a lot 😛 ).

I don’t ever leave the house without some color on my lips, and every season I change up my shades.

For this Spring, I am pretty much excited to wear more Oranges and Pinks. In the images below are my top selections.

L’oreal Rouge Caresse in Lovely Pink, is the most pretty sheer pink color I have ever seen. The consistency of this lipstick allows it to be very moisturizing for your lips with some added hint of a color.

I think everyone is familiar with the amazing Kate Moss lipstick range from Rimmel. They have the most pigmented and vibrant colors. The number 06 shade is very daring and adds that needed pop of color for a neutral outfit. Be careful in applying such lipsticks, I prefer to use a lipliner for a cleaner lip.

The most exciting shade for me is this orange color from L’oreal Color Riche range. I bought it last year when I was on my vacation in Bodrum, Turkey. Every time I wear it, I remember the amazing vacation I had, and feel very nostalgic. I know it is a little daring, but it is so worth it!

I think this is the most wearable color of the 4 I chose, it is simple and flattering, that I keep wearing non stop with every single outfit. This color is so easy to wear and perfect for those laid back days and weekends.
