For as long as I can remember, I was fascinated by fashion and its evolution throughout the decades. I have always imagined myself living in the 50’s or the 60’s, wearing midi skirts and having over the top accessories and hair-dos. For me it was magic, the magic of dressing up and being someone more interesting and more fun. Although I do enjoy the crop tops and the boyfriend jeans I live in on an everyday basis, I do want that fun and pin up style that I saw in the pictures and in movies. Some people might think that by wearing vintage pieces or dressing similar to any of the previous decades, would make your style outdated, like you have just raided your great-great grandmother’s closet and stepped out for a night-out, but that’s not always the case. For me it is the inspiration behind those styles, it is the general feel of that decade and not just copying the style as it is. You should take something from that decade and make it modern and relevant to today’s fashion. You may think it is hard, and maybe you are right. But don’t you worry, I am bringing you a fun series in collaboration with Washed and Found to show you how easy it is to style a Vintage inspired look.

For the first look, we decided to opt for a Sailor pin-up style with the typical combination of the Stripes, Red and Blue, and pair them with some gorgeous vintage high heels. What we wanted to show here is the importance of adding modern and stylish pieces to the vintage ones to obtain the balance for the perfect look.

All the pieces I am wearing for this look are pre-owned pieces from luxury brands, and could be found on the Washed and Found’s website. Some of you might not be comfortable with buying or wearing pre-owned pieces, simply because it is still a new thing and we are not always certain of the sources and the credibility of the stores. But here is where Washed and Found is different than any other store in Lebanon, they take their job very seriously and make sure that you don’t worry about anything regarding, the authenticity, the quality and the price-tag. Washed and Found is the first online store for second-hand luxury brands in Lebanon and the only one with a website. They sell a variety of items and brands (around 200 brands) and have a very low tolerance for items in bad conditions. All the items shown on the website  are 100% authentic and they make sure that each and every item passes all the stages of authentication. If you are a person who have been wanting to invest in a certain luxury brand, Washed and found could be your destination, because they cater for all styles.

So, stay tuned for a lot more coming this week.

We all have those days, when nothing is going as planned and you feel tired. In this case, a vacation is the first that comes to my mind, since all I want to do is forget my daily routine and simply relax. But you cannot take a vacation whenever you are feeling down ( unless you can, lucky you ), instead I treat myself to a weekend getaway around Lebanon, and believe me when I say there are a lot of amazing and beautiful places all around our beloved country. Whether you are a sea lover or a nature explorer, Lebanon offers something for you, too.

So, for my birthday last month we decided to head to Amchit and celebrate there, and it was actually the best decision ever. I loved the private pool area, the surrounding blue water and the fresh air and came back home more energized and totally relaxed.

I hope you are enjoying your Summer and stay tuned for a lot of posts to come ❤

Where to Shop :: SUBDUED

I have noticed lately that I have been heading to precise fashion stores while on my shopping sprees. I don’t know if it is the lazy part of me, or just the certainty that I can find what I would definitely like in one my favorite stores without spending a lot of time looking and searching around. I think for me it is simply the time issue. With my heavy schedule and my constant running around from work to meetings to my daily family errands, I do not want to waste my spare time on visiting shops I am not certain of. I want my time to be spent wisely. Is it just me, or it also happens to you? Because sometimes I feel that I do not give the new stores any chance, but I know what I like and I stick to it.

But once in a while, I get introduced to new brands that become a favorite of mine and are easily added to my favorites’ list. I would like to introduce you to SUBDUED, an Italian brand that caters for the young and the fashionable, with a vast variety of casuals and denim pieces, trust me when I say that you will fall in love. One of the main things that caught my eye in the store was their jeans selection, from different cuts to different colors, there is something for each and everyone of you. I, personally, find it hard finding a pair of jeans that wouldn’t stretch out after a couple of wears, and I was super happy with the Subdued Girlfriend-fit jeans. This pair has enough amount of stretch that allows it to be very comfy to wear during the day but stay looking perfect even after 4-5 wears. What is also amazing about this store is the petite sizing. Yes, they have sizes going as small as 21 😀

This store is perfect for the accessories’ lovers like me, they have a huge collection of chockers and earrings that would satisfy any girl and makes necklace layering a piece of cake.

Visit the recently opened SUBDUED store in Beirut City Center, and check their facebook page for all the new updates (

Grungy Feeling

I remember, around 2 years ago, when I first started posting outfits on my blog, I had my staple wardrobe essentials, the fool-proof pieces that would create the perfect outfit without me even trying. If you have been reading my blog for a long time, I think you could guess these pieces for sure. My essentials were a chambray shirt, a striped full skirt and a pair of leopard heels. I know, how time changes!  I no longer have these pieces in my wardrobe (except the chambray shirt, since it’s a classic) simply because they do not represent my style these days. As much as I loved mixing prints, these days I am more into monochromatic and minimalistic looks, as they say “Less is More”.

Clean cuts and simple details are all that I need and the pieces shown in the pictures above perfectly represent the the vibes I am going for. The fitted high-waisted boyfriend jeans and a striped crop top have been my latest uniform, from work, to dinner with friends this is the base of all my outfits, where I can play with the different accessories to change up the look and turn it form casual to sassy in a whim.
