Interview by Annahar Shabab :: Blue Gem

IMG_1004-2When I decided to start the #30x30challenge, I have never thought that it would get such a positive feedback from so many parts of the Social Community in Lebanon. Since, I finished the challenge last month, I was constantly reminded by my readers on how inspiring that series was and how refreshing it was to read blogs that encourage creativity. So, I want to thank each and every one of you for showing support to my little blog and make it bigger every day.
I was contacted during the time I was doing the challenge by the Lebanese Annahar Shabab online magazine for a small interview and a feature on their website. It was finally published yesterday, and here is the snapshot of the interview ( it is in arabic, so I am really sorry for my international readers since you can’t read it)

I think you can remember that a month ago I posted some sneak-peek photos from my last photoshoot with Betty from Betket Photography (link here) before she left for London. And since I have started the #30x30challenge, as you all you know by now, there hasn’t been any time to post other that my outfits for the challenge. But I have finally decided that it is the perfect time to reveal the 1st part of the photoshoot, which was all about the Velvet texture and the Embossed Prints.
I have received this amazing Midi-Skirt for Christmas from my amazing Co-worker, and I was so excited to wear, because it was a treat to look at. This isn’t my first midi-skirt and I don’t think it’s going to be my last, since I’ve fallen in love with its silhouette and shape that it gives to my body.
The skirt is from Miss Selfridge Petite range and is perfect in size for people who like me struggle to find good fitted clothes in small sizes. And it is good to know that finally we have a store that provides cute dresses in petite sizing.
Since the skirt is very expensive looking, because of the velvet like material and its rich gem-stone color, I found it perfect to be worn for a night out during colder weather. A cream colored sweater is a perfect addition to soften the look more, and a pop of color added with the large earrings. To elongate the legs a nude pair of pumps is what you should go for when wearing a midi skirt.
